Crown Heights’ Former Spice Factory Trades for $42.4 Million

Developers Continuum Co. and Lincoln Equities had gone under contract to buy the site in 2017 with plans for a massive residential project spanning 1 million square feet, but the project proved controversial in the neighborhood and did not move forward. Golombeck filed plans with the Department of Buildings in June for a 6-story project at the address that would span about 240,000 square feet with 293 residential units. It is unclear if Hagler would move forward with this plan.
